Philipp and Bettina came to visit. Both Dylan and Troy were great and got on well with them. Here's some proof:

And here's a couple of lovely pictures of Dylan and Troy. They got on very well very quickly...

And playing...

APRIL 2002
After we adopted Dylan on 22nd March, we wanted to add a second dog as quickly as possible as both Cornel and I worked full-time and we didn't want Dylan to spend too much time on his own.
I had contacted the Pyrenean Mountain Dog breed rescue a while ago, but as no home check could be arranged, this came to a halt. I now contacted them again, offered them a vet's reference and a reference from Binfield Dog Rescue (where Dylan was from) and they were then happy to let us take on a dog.
They had a dog in called Troy, which seemed to get on well with other dogs. So on 6th April 2002, we made the trip to Leicestershire and went to see Troy. He was beautiful, seemed to get on allright with Dylan - and hence came with us.
The trip home was a nightmare. Troy tried to keep mounting Dylan in the car and it was difficult to keep them calm. When we finally made it home, it was a relief!
At home, we had much the same, Troy continued to hump Dylan all the time to the point where we actually put him on lead so he couldn't do it anymore. It lasted about 24 hours, then it all stopped and we could all start getting used to each other.
